Competition law

When providing legal support to a company, competition law issues arise on a regular basis. We advise companies on all issues relating to competition and fair trading law (unfair competition). In addition to the assessment of cartel law related problems, this also includes issues relating to unfair conduct, in particular in conjunction with the assessment of the permissibility of advertising measures ("advertising law"), and the representation of clients in proceedings before the Swiss Commission for Fairness in Commercial Communication.

Examples of our work:

  • Advising companies with regard to the Ordinance on Price Indication
  • Representation of a company in cartel law proceedings before the Swiss Competition Commission or in connection with proceedings before the Price Supervisor
  • Assessment of promotional measures under the Law on Unfair Competition (advice on advertising law issues)
  • Assessment of distribution contracts under cartel law, in particular unlawful agreements or abuse of market power
  • Assessment of general terms and conditions of business under the Law on Unfair Competition

In all areas, we conduct corresponding court and arbitration proceedings or proceedings before authorities.
